resserrer les liens de camaraderie et de solidarité entre les réservistes et anciens réservistes du Calvados, appartenant ou ayant appartenu aux 3 armées, à la gendarmerie et aux services interarmées, les réservistes peuvent appartenir ou avoir appartenu à la réserve opérationnelle, la réserve citoyenne ou l'honorariat ; contribuer à la cohésion entre militaires d'active et de réserve ; aider au recrutement de volontaires pour les réserves, à l'engagement dans l'armée d'active et également participer à leur reconversion ;promouvoir l'esprit de défense et les valeurs qui s'y attachent ; assurer le lien entre la société civile et les armées ; participer à l'information des réservistes et des citoyens ; contribuer au développement des relations employeurs-réservistes-armées ; défendre et promouvoir les intérêts moraux, matériels et professionnels de ses membres ; entretenir des relations et liens amicaux avec d'autres associations dont les buts rejoignent ceux de l'AORC ; s'interdire toute discussion, propagande ou manifestation ayant un caractère politique, confessionnel ou syndical
