Objet :

sensibiliser tous publics au handicap visuel et à ses conséquences sur la vie des déficients visuels (vie personnelle, familiale, professionnelle, sociale) ; informer ces publics, en particulier les déficients visuels eux-mêmes ainsi que les services sociaux et de santé, des solutions existantes pour atténuer les difficultés des déficients visuels, notamment les services proposés par l'ACGAO ; redonner confiance aux déficients visuels afin qu'ils accèdent à une vie sociale, en retrouvant plus d'autonomie dans leur déplacements ; proposer un espace de convivialité entre bénévoles, déficients visuels ou non, mobilisés pour conduire ces actions de sensibilisation et d'information ; participer localement à des commissions d'accessibilité d'administrations ou d'entreprises, afin que les lieux recevant du public ou des salariés handicapés soient accessibles aux déficients visuels, y compris quand ils sont accompagnés d'un chien guide d'aveugle ; représenter localement l'ACGAO
