Grouper, en vue de la défense des intérêts de l'aviculture de l'Orne, le plus grand nombre d'aviculteurs du département et des arrondissements limitrophes ; servir de liaison entre les éleveurs de l'Orne, entrtenir entre les membres de la société des relations de confraternité ; encourager et développer l'Elevage, la sélection des poules, lapins, pigeons etc, tous animaux de basse cour , organiser des concours ou expositions, conférences, visites d'élevages, etc... créer également un groupement d'achat d'aliments, de bagues, etc. Cette liste de buts est simplement indicative et non limitative
