constituer entre les Sociétés fédérées une Union fraternelle, solidaire et de bonne camaraderie ; travailler à accroître la prospérité des Sociétés fédérées sans s'immiscer, en aucune façon, dans leur administration intérieure, chaque société affiliée conservant son entière indépendance, sa personnalité et sa complète autonomie ; étudier en commun toutes les questions d'intérêt général, voeux ou propositions à soumettre aux autorités qualifiées (Pouvoirs Publics U.F.A.C, etc) en vue de procurer aux Sociétés fédérées et à leurs membres la plus grande somme possible d'avantages moraux et matériels ; être, en tant que de besoin, le relais entre les associations affiliées et les autorités locales ; promouvoir et faciliter toutes réalisations sociales au profit des Sociétés affiliées et leur apporter le concours de ses conseils, de ses renseignements et de son appui ; perpétuer le devoir de mémoire ; coordonner les manifestations organisées par les associations affiliées, pour autant que celles-ci lui en aient fait parvenir les informations ; organiser chaque année, avec le concours des sociétés fédérées une manifestation dont le programme sera arrêté par le Conseil Fédéral
