Objet :

promouvoir le musée situe rue Baron Bigot à Montville, notamment en mettant en valeur ses collections existantes et en les enrichissant par l'acquisition de nouveaux objets, matériels ou documents de toute forme et tout support dès l'instant où ils se rapportent à la vie des Sapeurs-Pompiers et d'une façon plus générale à la sécurité civile ; assurer la présentation des collections et le suivi muséographique ; gérer suivant les normes des musées et tenir à jour les inventaires et le marquage des objets ; constituer un Centre National de Documentation rassemblant tous supports, écrit, parlé, filmé, etc sur les Sapeurs-Pompiers et la Sécurité Civile
