collecter auprès de tous publics, sans distinction ni sélection de quelque sorte que ce soit, tous supports photographiques et matériels anciens en vue de leur restauration, leur valorisation et plus généralement de la sauvegarde du patrimoine photographique ; faire découvrir et revivre auprès des générations actuelles les procédés photographiques anciens, ainsi que les images qui témoignent de notre passé collectif depuis l'invention de la photographie ; rassembler et accueillir quel que soit son niveau de connaissances ou son expérience, toute personne passionnée par la photographie sous toutes ses formes, et plus largement la création d'images, ou désirant s'y initier ; organiser ou animer des ateliers autour de l'image aussi bien en son sein qu'à l'extérieur ; organiser des sorties, rencontres, expositions et toutes manifestations en rapport avec l'objet principal de l'association, ou lui permettant de se financer ; mettre ses compétences, son savoir faire et ses moyens à la disposition de tous
