Perpétuer dans la france métropolitaine, dans les DOM et les TOM comme chez nos alliés le souvenir des combattants, servir leur mémoire, entretenir et développer les relations fraternelles entre les anciens combattants des nations amies ou alliées. Oeuvre d'union sacrée, patriotique morale et humanitaire , ouverte à tous ceux qui ont servi sous les armes et aux associations ayant les mêmes buts sans distinction d'opinion, de race ou de religion
