faciliter et encourager les fonctions électives des femmes élues par la documentation et la formation, la mise en commun des expériences acquises dans la gestion et les responsabilités des collectivités dans lesquelles elles siègent ; accompagner les femmes élues à accomplir leur mandat électif, communal, intercommunal, départemental, régional, national ; favoriser par des réunions thématiques, des rencontres, des approches des différentes institutions aux divers échelons de la vie politique, l'engagement des jeunes femmes dans la vie publique ;  promouvoir la place et l'image des femmes et la complémentarité au sein des différentes assemblées ; soutenir les femmes dans tous les domaines de la vie, et lutter contre toutes les violences et discrimination ; participer à l'éducation civique des citoyens et susciter leur contribution à la vie publique
