resserrer les liens de camaderie et de solidarité qui doivent unir les sapeurs-pompiers de Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie; créer un milieu favorable au développement culturel et à la morale sociale au sein du centre de secours; entretenir des relations amicales avec les habitants du secteur défendu par les sapeurs-pompiers; subvenir moralement et matériellement aux besoins de l'adhérent et de sa famille en cas de nécessité et selon les possibilités de l'association (allocations, aides ponctuelles etc); organiser et couvrir les différentes manifestations , réunions et fêtes familiales, manifestations sportives, sorties... relayées en cela par des commissions constituées; adhérer ou souscrire à toute oeuvre intéressant la profession de sapeur-pompier : la FNSPP, l'union départementale, les assurances, les oeuvres ou actions humanitaires
