tisser des liens entre histoire, sciences sociales et spectacle vivant, elle se donne 4 objectifs: alimenter la réflexion collective sur la situation actuelle et l'avenir du spectacle vivant notamment grâce à des enquêtes sur les publics et à l'organisation de débats et colloques. contribuer à la formation et l?information des professionnels du spectacle en diffusant auprès d?eux les travaux des historiens et des chercheurs en sciences sociales. aider à l?écriture et à la création de spectacles mobilisant ces savoirs, notamment par des apport en coproduction, des conseils et services, des recherches documentaires et iconographiques. promouvoir ce type de spectacles en direction du monde associatif, des écoles et des médias, notamment par des animations, des rencontres et autres événements culturels.
