en collaboration avec les pouvoirs et organismes publics, les partenaires privés ainsi qu'avec les acteurs soucieux de soutenir son but, l'umps 95 met à disposition des personnels répartis en unités structurées, dans le cadre de postes et opérations de secours, de sauvetage ou de protection, en prévisionnel comme dans l'urgence ; l'aide et l'assistance humanitaire par : le soutien aux populations, l'accueil dans des infrastructures publiques ou privés tierces, l'écoute et le réconfort ; l'activité de formation, en rapport avec le champ d'intervention de l'umps 95, pour maintenir, améliorer et développer les compétences de ses membres actifs comme du grand public, dès l'obtention de l'agrément national adéquat ; l'umps 95 peut être amenée, par son expertise, à conseiller tout organisme public ou privé ; le champ géographique d'intervention de l'umps 95 est défini par arrêté préfectoral pour le département du val d'oise ; en fonction des évolutions liées à son rattachement à l'in-umps , son champ géographique de compétences peut évoluer au gré de l'obtention de différents agréments nationaux de sécurité civile ; elle agit en accord avec les directives fixées par l'in-umps
