Historique :
Ancienne fondation d'hospitaliers de Saint-Jean-de-Jerusalem. Resté à partir du 16e siècle dans l'ordre de Malte, la commanderie de Puyravault participe en 1643 à l'assèchement du marais sous l'autorité du chevalier François Petit de la Guerche. De cette commanderie, seule subsiste l'église du 12e siècle, qui présente une architecture caractéristique des constructions de cet ordre : vaisseau rectangulaire sans transept, voûté en berceau brisé. L'église a conservé la plupart de ses percements d'origine et l'ornementation très simple de son portail occidental. La façade occidentale, restaurée dans les années 1960, est surmontée d'un petit campanile en bâtière.Classement monument historique :
