Cette chapelle, qui domine depuis 9 siècles le petit port de la Meule, est sans nul doute l’un des plus anciens témoignages religieux encore présents sur l’île. Notre-Dame de Bonne-Nouvelle, protectrice des marins, fut l’objet d’une grande dévotion de la part des Islais. A l’intérieur, vous pourrez remarquer deux ex-voto : une demi-coque et une reproduction d’un tableau dont l’original fut offert à Notre-Dame par des marins reconnaissants. Sur le mur sud, vous pourrez observer une photo qui représente l’intérieur de la chapelle autrefois.
