Historique :	Comme pour la statue de la Vierge à l'Enfant - de mêmes dimensions et de même facture - l'analyse stylistique inciterait à la dater de la première moitié du 19e siècle et la comparaison avec les oeuvres d'Henry-Hamilton Barrême (1795-1866) à l'attribuer à ce sculpteur, actif à Ancenis puis à Angers.
